Guests4dinner.com is a Hosting Service – connecting ‘Home Cook Hosts’ with ‘Paying Guests’ in their home for a home cooked meal. This does not represent an Employment contract or other such contractual arrangement.
ALL Home Cook Hosts are deemed to be individual contractors and are responsible for their own individual Accounting, Financial and Taxation affairs. Where appropriate, they should seek their own Financial and Taxation advice.
BOTH Paying ‘Home Cooks’ and ‘Paying Guests’ MUST register on the Guests4dinner.com website. This is both to authenticate the true identity of the Home Cooks and Paying Guests and have a record of all transactions and interactions that occur via the website.
The primary concern of Guests4dinner is the health, welfare, security and safety of both Home Cooks and their Paying Guests.
ALL Home Cooks – should have Home and Contents Insurance that covers loss, theft and accidental or malicious damage to Property.
It is also advisable to have Public Liability Insurance – that covers any and all trade people, children, friends, neighbours or guests coming into your home in the advent that they fall over or injure themselves in some way. Home Cook Hosts are responsible for this.
Guests4dinner.com has a Host Protection Insurance Policy that covers Registered Home Cooks – for accidental but not malicious damage to property for up the value of US$ 100,000. All claims need to be verified and are limited to one incident or claim per Home Cook Host household.
It is the responsibility of the Home Cook Host to manage the health, hygiene and cleanliness of their kitchen and all food preparation, food & drinks served and serving utensils, as well as the hygiene and cleanliness of all bathrooms that might be used by Guests while in their home. Guests4dinner takes no responsibility for maintaining these standards, but reserves the rights to de-list any Home Cook Hosts that fail to meet reasonable standards, and where a number of Guests register complaints.
